Psychokinesis: How to Develop Your Inner Power

Friday, December 9th, 2011

Psychokinesis, more commonly referred to as telekinesis, has been documented since ancient times. It is defined as the process of mind over matter, and is derived from the Greek words ‘psyche,’ which means life, soul, and breath, and ‘kinein,’ which means to move. When most people think of telekinesis they picture the classic image of a gentleman bending spoons with the power of his mind. While this is certainly one aspect, psychokinesis is related to so much more than that.

Consider the prospect of willing cancer cells in your body to die rather than multiply. Or perhaps you’d like a sunny day for a picnic, when the weather clearly looks like it’s going to rain. These examples are certainly of a much larger scale than we normally picture, but they too fall into this psychic category. While this may sound like something out of a science fiction movie, we all have the capability to put our mind over matter.

To become experienced in this elusive art, first, it is beneficial to understand how it works. Everything around us and within us is created of energy. When we think, our thoughts direct our energy accordingly. Thus, logically, if we focus our thoughts toward levitating that paper cup off of our coffee table, with practice the energy of our thoughts should be able to respond to our request. There are many ways to test and train for the ability to use psychokinesis.

First, set aside some time daily to begin training your mind to focus. Just as a pro athlete must work daily to be able to accomplish amazing physical feats, the aspiring telekinetic must exercise their mind. Meditation is the perfect tool. Set aside thirty minutes (or two intervals of fifteen minutes) when you won’t be interrupted, and try to either clear your mind of all thoughts, or attempt to focus on one thought only. Once you are consistently meditating daily, add thirty minutes of practicing psychokinesis to your line up. Stick with one type of practice for a minimum of seven days before moving on to a different technique. Don’t get frustrated if it takes you several weeks to begin seeing results. Here are some ideas to try:

• Try using a candle as your point of focus. Block out everything from your mind except the candle’s flame, and attempt to control the direction it flickers.

• Direct the movement of a pendulum. A pendulum can be something as simple as a cotton ball tied to a string, or a necklace from your jewellery drawer. Make sure you set your pendulum up in an area where it will have a free range of motion, such as hanging from a shelf or a desk.

• Look online for psychokinetic training and testing websites. There are many places that have designed models where you can attempt to control the number that appears on your screen, or the direction in which a ball will move next

Once you have begun seeing consistent results, consider looking for a local club or scientific laboratory that specializes in psychic areas. You might be surprised by how many people are working on training their minds, and adding a partner can create a whole new element to this art form.

Find Your Purpose in Life

Friday, December 9th, 2011

Why are you here? What are you meant to be doing? What is the purpose of your life? These are questions we have all asked ourselves at one point or another. Chances are, if you’re reading this you’ve given the previous questions some serious consideration, but before you could get far in your discovery your day by day life got in the way. Now, you’re still looking for answers. It’s important to know that no one can give you the answers you are looking for but yourself. It’s also important to know that it may take time to realize what the answers to your questions are; be okay with this.

Figuring out your purpose in life requires some introspection. It may seem like a daunting task, but within thirty minutes or less you could have a good idea of what direction your life should be headed in. First, find somewhere quiet, where you won’t be disturbed. Grab a pen and a piece of paper, and get comfy. Consider the topics below.

• What makes you happy? What makes you smile? What pass-times can you do for hours on end without getting tired? There are some things we do because we know we should, some because we have to, and some because we love to. The ones you love will help guide you to the path you are meant to walk.

• What do people ask you for help with, or come to you for advice about? There’s likely a common theme there. You may not recognize your natural abilities or talents, but other people will.

• What regrets do you have? What would you regret not doing in life? Why is this important to you?
• What does your gut tell you? Listen to your inner voice, your instinct. You already know where you want to go in life, what your purpose is; it can be hard to focus on what is right for you when society places so many demands on us.

• Embrace change. Following a new path can be a scary thing. Most people don’t like change, and as simple as this may seem, they don’t realize that without change they will never get different results. If you do not feel like you are on the right path in life, then continuing to do the same thing day in and day out won’t get you anywhere.

While the above questions may seem deceptively simple, try to think of the last time you really sat and spent a considerable amount of uninterrupted time thinking about any of them. Chances are you think about what everyone else wants every day, but you don’t take the time to take care of yourself. Remember that finding your purpose in life will take time, and that your purpose may even change. Many people feel pressure to be a good person, to positively impact others, to be a good role model, and so forth – but what do you really want? What makes you feel like you are leaving your mark in this world? The purpose to life is personal and unique for each and every individual, but one thing is certain: we all have a purpose, and eventually you will find yours.

Multiple Universes Views

Friday, December 2nd, 2011

The concept of multiple universes, also known as multiverse, dates back to as far as 1954 when a young doctoral candidate from Princeton University by the name of Hugh Everette III suggested that parallel universes exist. This theory suggests that there are other universes that have branched off each other, and likewise, ours has branched from another universe. In these other universes, the outcomes of things are much different from what we have experienced. Wars have ended differently, animals that are extinct here are not elsewhere, and in some universes, we are extinct. Multiverses have been studied by numerous philosophers and scientists as well as in cosmology, physics, astronomy, and religion. This concept is very popular in science fictions and fantasy books.

Philosophers have become concerned with the “bifurcation points”, which means that the decisions that we make in our current universe are made by beings of consciousness and when we make a choice, the reality splits and becomes separate, but we continue in the other universe with the opposing decision of the one that was made. The variation of this is when we begin to create our own reality. When we have hopes and dreams that do not manifest immediately, we tend to give up on them and start a new dream. Philosophers are beginning to believe that when we give up on our dreams here, the “us”, in the multiverse continue on with that dream until it comes true. The only thing that they have yet to determine is what happens when we do not give up. Do we create a large void in our other life or do we continue as usual and receive twice the success?

While some people conclude that the possibility of multiple universes is just a theory, NASA has retrieved data from their WMAP satellite that they believe, offers proof. This satellite has gathered information about space to help scientists learn more about our own galaxy. However, what they discovered was a void in the Constellation of Eridanus that is roughly 10,000 times the size of our galaxy, but without stars, dust, nebulae or any other materials that we would find here. Scientists have come to the conclusion that this large void is the proof that they have needed to confirm that there may be another universe parallel with ours. More research needs to be done to truly confirm or deny the existence of another world, but quantum physicists at the California University have successfully completed tests that lead them to believe time travel is possible. They believe that they have uncovered a multi-state condition that enhances the probability that an object in front of you may exist simultaneously in a parallel universe.

Whether you believe the theory or not, it is interesting to believe that the decisions we make in our reality, may not just affect us here, but may span across a galaxy and affect an alternate version of ourselves. That if we are unable to manifest our wants and desires in this world, we may be doing so in another, without even realizing it.

The Secret Law of Abundance

Thursday, November 24th, 2011

The Law of Abundance has been around for centuries. Historians believe it was created from a Chinese exercise commonly referred to as "The Chinese Law of Abundance Check." The great news is; the decree of quantity is no longer a secret for most and anyone can live in this manner. The Law of Abundance is a mind-set. It's a positive way of thinking to get everything that the universe has to offer. The universe has a plethora of resources to provide, so that everyone can live a fulfilling and happy life. The Law of Abundance allows everyone to live up to their fullest potential.

Many have studied this in great depth and have successfully applied the rules into their own lives and reaped many rewards. Everyone can live this law and obtain all that the universe has to offer. The first step to living this way is to think about all that you want and deserve from life; money, love, a better home, happiness. Make a list so you can visualize the things you desire. Some researchers believe that writing a letter of abundance is useful. Write a letter of all that you are seeking and seal the letter. Do not open the letter or read it for 40 days. Next, take action and change your way of thinking. Start thinking positively. Sending positive thoughts out into the universe will bring positive results back to you. Do not think that you are defeated or that you are destined to be poor, lonely or sick. Everyone is entitled to all of the wonders the universe has to offer, including you.

Once you begin to think positively, you must learn how to receive. Most of us think that we are able to garnish the things that come our way. However, we are taught from a young age that it is better to give than to take; therefore, we have been conditioned to not get things. With the Law of Abundance, you must be able to reap what you desire when it is given to you. This will take time and effort, but it is possible. After you learn how to receive from the universe, you must learn to remain humble and grateful.

People believe that it takes 40 days to completely be immersed into this way of thinking. During these 40 days, there are many affirmations that can be said to help assist you in getting what you desire. Saying specific affirmations at least 40 times a day, for 40 days will make the Law of Abundance, not just an idea, but your new behavior. The only thing stopping you from having everything the universe wants to provide to you is focusing on the wrong things, accepting what you already have and feeling that is all you deserve or lacking the experience to receive. The quantity the universe wants to provide to you is available, and it is available for everyone, and it only takes 40 days to receive your desires.

Learn What Your Dreams Mean

Friday, November 18th, 2011

Interpreting dreams in something that has been researched for as long back as man has existed. From Freud to your neighbor, everyone thinks they know what they mean. The truth is, everyone sleep visions, but they belong to us and only we can know what they mean.

The first thing you must do to learn what your dreams mean is to keep a dream journal. Put a pad and paper next to your bed that allows you to write down every detail of your thoughts as soon as you are able. Once you have a good record, you will be able to dive into them more deeply. With your records, you will be able to analyze the different aspects of the dream to find their meaning. There has been numerous researches done on their meaning, so much that you can find thousands of books online that will break it down by each section to help you interpret them.

Some researchers believe that the visions we have while asleep are messages from your subconscious. Your mind is making you aware that there is something happening in your life that needs to be resolved. The trances do not happen to solve the problems in your life, but help you to gain insight of things that may need to be addressed. Recurring dreams may be caused by something in your life that you have no control over. Other researchers believe that they are a continuation of the thoughts you had while you were awake, and some believe that they are a vision into the future. If you dream you are in a car accident, you will be, if your imagination tells you are pregnant, you probably are. This isn't true for most, but some have a firm belief that what we see at night are omens.

People believe that every aspect of a dream is significant, from the location, to the people involved and symbols and colors that you see. No one can say exactly what they are; everyone has their ideas and theories, and they are all different. The best thing for the sleeper to do is analyze their dreams and take away from it what is best for them and their current situation.

You can research what every piece of your fantasies mean; however, the books and research that have been done are a general overview. Everyone's life is different, and one person's image of being chased or falling may have a different meaning than someone else's. The most common dreams are being chased, falling, losing all of your teeth, taking tests, being naked in public and flying. The meaning to one may not be the same to another, use caution when attempting to interpret your dreams. They may not be a life changing message from your subconscious; it may have been caused by something that you watched on television that day, or it may mean that something in your life is unbalanced and needs attention. Only you can know what your thoughts truly signify.

How to Interpret Dreams

Friday, November 18th, 2011

The process of assigning a meaning to your dreams is known as dream interpretation. This is a study that has gone on for many centuries in many diverse cultures. The first known research done regarding dreams and their meanings was by a neurologist named Sigmund Freud. His theories are still used to a core for many psychologists and spiritualists. Interpreting is attempting to explain something that is obscure; therefore, everyone's dreams will be analyzed as something different to different people.

Dreams are produced from our right brain which causes most of us to dream as symbols, meaning that if you visualize a snake, it may not be about a snake but something that the snake represents. They are not to be taken in the literal sense but rather, metaphorically, but in order to begin to analyze a dream; you should at first take it a face value and proceed from there.

The best way to begin a dream interpretation is to record all of the images you experienced while you were sleeping. It is a great idea to keep a voice recorder close by while you sleep so when you awake, you can record all of your thoughts and feelings. Later, these recordings should be transferred into a notebook making it easier to analyze later. When you have a good record of your dreams, you can begin to analyze them.

Most people turn to online aids such as dream interpretations and dictionaries. These tools will prove to be helpful, but they are generic and will not fit into everyone's life. If you find that these tools do not provide you with the insight you need, you may need to begin to break them down more specifically and ask yourself how they apply to your own life and current situation. Your dreams may be trying to tell you something, solve problems or simply be a memory of something from your past. Dreams are deeply personal to the person who has them, and no one will be able to decipher them better than the person who has experienced them firsthand.

You should review every aspect of your dream. Colors, location, people involved, situation, symbols and of course how you feel after having the dream. These are all important facts that will help you make a good interpretation. If you have a dream all of your teeth fell out, it may not mean that you are self-conscious about your appearance, it may be your brain attempting to let you know that you simply forgot to brush them. Your dreams will somehow fit into your current life or a past situation that has occurred, no one else's.

Don't fret if you are unable to make sense of your dream. For some people, dreams are a continuation of the thoughts you have had during the day. For others, it may be falling asleep with the television on and it transferred into your subconscious, it may be just a memory or caused because you talked about someone specific that day. Practice analyzing your dreams and eventually, it will become very easy to understand your dreams.
